Multi-plate vacuum dryer: hides are laid on heated stainless steel plates and dried under vacuum, so moisture leaves at a lower temperature and more evenly.
How the dryer is built
An oil-ring vacuum pump with a Roots booster reaches 10 mbar, so more water is drawn out in less time.
Stainless steel condensers beside each plate, plus a second condenser ahead of the Roots booster.
Hot-water heating with a purpose-designed flow channel heats the plates evenly.
The release system keeps condensate from running back onto the plate and marking the leather.
Hydraulic lock and balance valves, a cylinder-driven mechanical safety block, plate position tracking, light-curtain protection and emergency stop.
Smooth, sand-blasted or semi-matt working plates.
